The game between the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers on Thursday marked some interesting moments. During the warmups ahead of the game, D.J. Moore came and jumped into the hands of Brian Burns. The two players used to be teammates earlier and are great friends to date. It seemed like a reunion to them and both enjoyed the moment in their own style.

Both were first-round picks for the Carolina Panthers. Moore was picked one year before Burns. He was the 24th overall selection in 2018, while Burns was selected in 2018. Burns was the 16th overall selection for the Panthers. They shared four long years as teammates and had their moments in the team.

However, ahead of the 2023-24 season, the Panthers released D.J. Moore to the Bears. After four seasons, both parted ways and this is the first season when they are having a different dressing room.

The game between the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers was a close encounter. The game ended 16-13 in favor of the Bears. The team is presently standing at fourth position in the NFC North division. On the other hand, the Panthers share the same fate in the NFC South Division.

Both teams are limping this season. This is the Panthers’ eighth loss of the season. On the other hand, the Bears are on a better front after ten games, losing seven.

The Carolina Panthers’ quarterback problem is still continuing

The Panthers’ quarterback problem is not coming to an end. They drafted Bryce Young as their rookie quarterback this season. The team had to choose between him and C.J. Stroud in this year’s draft. After some days of brainstorming, the team went for Young, and it was the Houston Texans that drafted Stroud as their rookie quarterback.

Halfway through the season, they are lamenting the decision. Young has had zero impact so far. The QB had a zero-touchdown game against the Bears and his overall record is also shambolic. However, Young seems a good fit for the team-building process and that’s the sole reason they are not benching him.

On the other hand, Stroud has become a fan favorite. After his five-touchdown game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the analysts are considering him one of the top-ten quarterbacks in the league.
