Without a doubt, if there is one man who has been talked about more than anyone else for a variety of reasons, it is Tom Brady. The Tampa Bay QB shocked the world when he announced his retirement, however, he soon took a U-turn and un-retired after just 40 days.
The man is now all set to lead the Buccaneers in the coming season. Tom is indeed one of the greatest QBs of all time. He has the stats to back him and although the whole retirement and un-retirement saga looked a bit abrupt, there is no doubt about the fact that the world is eagerly waiting for him to take the field again.

Before Tom took on the responsibility to lead the Bucs, he was a Patriot and oh boy was he successful with them. After all, winning six Super Bowl titles for a franchise is not easiest of the tasks. He left the Patriots back in 2019 for Tampa Bay and many reckon that the void his absence created still hasn’t been filled.
Talking about Brady’s run with the Patriots, two time Super Bowl champion and former Patriot Asante Samuel had a lot to say on I am Athlete podcast. “All the stuff was working with the Patriots because of Tom,” Asante said, adding that coach Belichick allowed Brady to do his thing his way which is why the franchise enjoyed so much success.
“While everyone was trying to figure out how we were winning, there was one X factor, it was Tom,” Asante said and when he was asked that wasn’t Belichick the one making all the decisions, to which he replied that those decisions worked because the team had Tom and as soon as Tom went away, the Patriots haven’t really been able to perform under Belichick.
Asante went on to claim that everything worked for his side because there was Tom Brady. He added that he Belichick can still be the best coach of all time, he just needs to win a Super Bowl without Brady. It will be interesting to see how the New England-based franchise performs in the coming season.
