The Cincinnati Bengals‘ star WR Ja’Marr Chase is one of the best players in his position in the NFL. He has formed a great connection with his QB, Joe Burrow, with whom he played at LSU as well.
Chase’s 2023 NFL season had a slow beginning. The star receiver struggled in the early part of the season as Burrow was recovering from his calf injury. However, the Bengals have looked like their old selves in recent weeks, with Chase improving his play with each passing game.
The Bengals’ wideout has gained a lot of fans with his incredible plays and attitude towards the game. One of those fans is NBA superstar LeBron James.
The Los Angeles Lakers star recently gifted Chase his Fruity Pebbles-themed cleats based on the Nike LeBron 4. The shoes were released in 2006, and Chase posted the unboxing video on his Instagram account.
These clean as hell. Good looks. Appreciate you, LeBron.Chase said while unboxing the cleats
The receiver also received a Fruity Pebbles cereal box. He got a ‘Ja’Marr Pebbles’ box that featured him on the cover of the Bengals’ all-white uniform. The Fruity Pebbles-themed cleats will be released in 2024 and are based on the PE editions of James’ basketball shoes released in 2006.
Chase, so far this season, has accumulated 821 yards on 69 receptions and scored five touchdowns. He broke the Bengals’ franchise record for most receiving yards in a single game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. In their recent game against the Houston Texans, Chase went for 124 yards and one score on five receptions.

Ja’Marr Chase opens up about the Bengals’ loss to the Texans on Sunday
The Cincinnati Bengals came into their week 10 game against the Houston Texans on the back of four consecutive wins. They were finally looking like the Bengals of old. However, the Texans defeated the red-hot Bengals as their rookie QB, C.J. Stroud, torched them for 30 points. Bengals’ star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase talked about the game afterward.
Chase said:
It’s just winning, losing right now, and like I keep saying, gotta get more consistent. Offense making plays, like we did in the last three games. Even though Tee (Higgins) was down, I was a little limited, just you know, offense gotta step up sometimes, and other people gotta make plays too.
The receiver finished the game with 124 yards and one touchdown.
The Bengals will play their next game against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. It will be a huge game in the AFC North battle. The Ravens have already beaten the Bengals earlier this season and the Cincinnati-based team will hope to take revenge this Thursday.
