“Best Ever”, Former Super Bowl-winning Bronco believes this young QB is better than Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning is one of the best to ever do it. Any list of the greatest QBs ever is incomplete without Peyton Manning and labeling anyone better than him is quite a high praise that not many would give to someone. So it was quite a surprise when a former teammate of Manning called a young Quarterback in the league better than Peyton Manning the 5 time NFL MVP who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last year.
Ryan Harris spent almost 10 years in the NFL, the highlight of his career was when he won Super Bowl 50 with the Peyton Manning-led Denver Broncos against the Carolina Panthers. He retired from the NFL in 2016 after playing with another Canton-bound Quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh. Harris during a recent interview on the D.A. Show was asked about the AFC East and he said something while answering that even the hosts couldn’t believe.
“Justin Herbert is the best Quarterback I have ever seen.” Ryan Harris. Better than Peyton Manning?
Harris said per CBS Sports – “Well, the AFC West, I think is really going to be led by the Los Angeles Chargers. I mean, Justin Herbert is the best quarterback I’ve ever seen — and I played with Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger. This guy is unbelievable.”
Herbert who’s entering his 3rd season in the league after being drafted with the 6th pick of the 2020 NFL draft has had a good career so far but calling him the best is quite a statement especially after playing with the Sherrif and Big Ben.
Harris doubled down on his proclamation- “I played with Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger and I’m telling you, Justin Herbert is the best quarterback I’ve ever seen. It’s unbelievable what he does. It is something that’s only going to continue to increase and he’s got the most talented arm in the NFL.”
Herbert has had a good start to his career where he has won the NFL Offensive Player of the year and was selected to his 1st Pro Bowl last season and has also thrown for more yards, touchdowns, and completions than any other quarterback in NFL history through their first two seasons.
A great start that Herbert has can turn into a great and possibly a Hall of Fame career too but not many people are ready to proclaim him the best they have seen or compare him to the best QBs in the history of the game.
