Nick Saban‘s retirement announcement has created havoc and a cry among players, coaches, and analysts. 

With the statistics he holds, he can easily be coined as the best coach in the arena of college football. With six championships for Alabama, he became the all-time great of the team.

After his retirement, a short clip went viral on social media. It was a clip from a documentary where Bill Belichick, arguably the best coach in the NFL, was seen sharing his opinion on the best coach in the NCAA.

Belichick, who has six NFL titles on his name, shared that out of all personalities, he respected Nick Saban the most. 

There is nobody I respect more in Football than Nick Saban. I do not think there is anybody that is a better coach than Nick Saban. Cause Nick--he does everything well. To be able to do it twice in terms of National Championships, but he had great success in the Michigan State as well and would have had a lot of success in Miami had he stayed there. I have no doubt about that.
The veteran HC said.

The NCAA legend tried his luck at professional football for a brief period. However, his attempts remained unsuccessful with the Miami Dolphins. The head coach went back to the NCAA and built his empire at Alabama. 

The team provided 123 players to the NFL, a record in college football. In addition, it also produced four Heisman Trophy winners. Because of all these factors, his statue was placed in front of the stadium.

Bill Belichick is expected to part ways with the New England Patriots

The journey of 24 years for Bill Belichick as a New England Patriots coach is expected to come to an end today. As per sources, the HC can bid goodbye to the team after 24 long years.

For the past few days, the future of the HC has remained uncertain. The 2023–24 season was the worst that the Patriots have had since 2000.

They finished with less than seven wins in the league. In addition, this was the team’s back-to-back losing season. With all these, there are speculations that owner Robert Kraft could sack him in the near future.

Nonetheless, the HC remained skeptical about his future. He said that he is under a contract and is open to discussing it with the owner, Robert Kraft. He also said that he is ready to help the team at any cost. 

I’m under contract. I’m going to do what I always do. As far as any decisions or direction for next year, way too early for that. It might be a series of meetings. I don’t know. We’ll handle that internally.
The HC added.

If Belichick says goodbye to his team then it will be the end of one of the greatest journeys in the arena of Sports.

Very few hold the record of coaching in a club for more than two decades. With the separation of one of the greatest maestros, the legacy of the Patriots can come to an end.
