Bill Belichick has been the Head Coach of the New England Patriots for over two decades now. He’s one of the longest-serving HCs in the league ever. The 70-year-old HC created a dynasty with the Patriots and made them one of the most celebrated teams in the history of the league.

However, dominating the NFL would not have been easy without the GOAT of football. Tom Brady is said to have played an important part in creating a legacy for the Patriots.

The 199th draft pick changed the course of history for the Patriots and also their HC Bill Belichick. The Patriots were an average team before Brady and really slacked off in the league when the QB left for Tampa Bay.

Regardless, Belichick and the Patriots looked towards the future and drafted QB Mac Jones as the first-round pick in 2021. However, things aren’t going well for the young QB and recent revelations make things worse for him.

It was recently reported that the Patriots HC offered Jones to various teams in the NFL to try to get rid of him. However, his tactics didn’t work as many teams didn’t show interest in signing him. Things aren’t going well between Belichick and Jones. The first-round pick has failed to live up to his potential and is known to argue with his HC from time to time.

It is reported that Jones was offered to teams like the Raiders, Texans, Bucs, and the Commanders via a report by PFT. Maybe, Bill Belichick wants to give the rookie Bailey Zappe a chance for the first team while also getting rid of Jones.
