Bill Belichick is undoubtedly one of the greatest HCs to ever grace the NFL. The HC is well known for his brilliant tactical analysis and his tenacity to win every game possible.

Belichick created a legacy for the New England Patriots and helped them become one of the best NFL teams of all time. However, all the pros come with some negatives as well.

Peyton Manning revealed on ‘ManningCast MNF’ that Belichick once found a way to spite former Browns owner Art Modell in the most hilarious and absurd way possible.

According to Peyton, the Patriots HC was touted to coach the AFC Pro Bowl team and he choose the Ravens LB Peter Boulware just so that the Browns owner will have to $1 million in bonuses to the Ravens LB.

“He picked Peter Boulware because he knew that Art Modell would have to pay Boulware a million-dollar bonus if Boulware made the Pro Bowl. Belichick hated Modell,” Manning said on ManningCast.

The incident happened after the 1998 regular season. Belichick was the Jets’ associate HC and defensive coordinator during that time. Peter Boulware was surprised after his name came in the Pro Bowl, as he didn’t know the reason behind it.

“I’m kind of shocked. I had really given up on the Pro Bowl,” Boulware told the Baltimore Sun in January 1999. “I was just focusing on the off-season, working out, getting ready for next season. I had put the Pro Bowl out of my mind. I take this as a blessing. I take this humbly. I’m just thankful to go.”

Bill Belichick is a complete savage and has often used players just for his motivations. Peyton Manning revealed another interesting story on the ManningCast, once again related to the Pro Bowl.

Belichick was the AFC Pro Bowl HC and decided to take Chargers long-snapper David Binn to the Pro Bowl just because he wanted his then-girlfriend Pamela Anderson to join them in Hawaii.

“He picked David Binn, who was a long snapper, because he was dating Pamela Anderson and Bill thought the players would like seeing Pamela at the pool in Hawaii,” Manning said. “She didn’t come. But that’s a cool Belichick story.” Pamela Anderson didn’t show up at Belichick got furious at Binn after practice and stated, “remind me why the f**k I invited you.”

Belichick has always been a practical coach, and that has helped him achieve a lot in the league. However, it’s not going as planned this season as the Patriots are currently 3rd in the AFC East and the playoffs are starting to become a distant reality for them.
