For me, I left on good terms, left and went to go win a Super Bowl. I had a great relationship with everybody in their facility, didn’t have any bad blood with anybody in there.
He shared how upset he was on leaving the Broncos, saying he “cried real tears.”
The awardee of the Butkus Award was drafted in 2011 by the Broncos, where he went on to spend 10 seasons. With each week, Miller has gotten a little better and attempted to get back his past levels of performance. Miller said:
I feel better every week. I would love to take these huge leaps and bounds each and every week but the reality is, I’m just getting a little bit better each and every week and I’m grateful for that.
I know I can still play, I know I can still recapture some of the things that I did in the past and the type of player I was.
With his gradual pace of getting back to his old form after the severe knee injury, Miller is hopeful for the upcoming games this season.
