The Buffalo Bills‘ franchise QB Josh Allen, who is also an avid golfer, made an appearance at the final round of the Genesis Invitational golf tournament at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, on Sunday. During the tournament, the Bills quarterback was left gobsmacked over his meeting with Golf legend Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods was playing in his first tournament since his appearance at the Open Championship last year. Allen, who was at the tournament, got to meet Woods for the first time and had a little chat with the golf great. “You put on a good tournament,” Josh Allen said to Woods. To which Woods responded that he did indeed try to put on a good tournament. “I tried to,” Woods responded. “Good luck with everything.”

“Little starstruck, obviously. He’s one of the only athletes ever, him and Kobe [Bryant], are the two guys I actually felt my heart beat faster. When he’s standing over a putt for a tournament, I legit felt the pressure with him. So, that was pretty cool – [will] never forget it,” said Allen about meeting with the Golf legend.

The Bills QB Josh Allen is one of the best signal-callers currently in the league. The fifth-year quarterback has had multiple remarkable seasons, but he still doesn’t have anything to show for it.

Apart from his 2 Pro Bowl nods, the QB is yet to win an individual award since he hasn’t played like the best QB in the league yet. In fact, the 6’5” quarterback is yet to make first-team All-Pro in five seasons.

However, the 26-year-old quarterback is swinging in the right direction and is all set to shred the opposing defenses in his sixth season. The Wyoming product is currently tied with the Bengals QB Joe Burrow and the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes as the betting favorites to win the 2023 league MVP.

With a team like the Buffalo Bills that is pretty much set in every position, Josh Allen has more than what it takes to win the Super Bowl. Along with that ultimate goal in his mind, he will certainly be thinking about proving himself by winning the prestigious MVP award this season.
