“F**king bum!” Ex-Broncos OT Billy Turner BLASTS Sean Payton for his bold comments on Denver’s coaching situation last year

The floodgates have been opened, and Sean Payton is feeling the heat. His recent comments on former Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett have not gone down well with most parties. Ex-Broncos and current New York Jets offensive tackle Billy Turner is furious with Payton.
Turner played seven games for the Broncos last season and has a right to be angry at Hackett’s bashing. Not only that, he was also part of the Green Bay Packers when Hackett was the offensive coordinator. So Turner has first-hand knowledge.
So when Payton chose to unleash a blunt attack on his predecessor for finishing last in the previous season, Turner could not sit idle. He shared his thoughts on Instagram and defended his Jets OC.
“It seems like someone started training camp and is trying to soften the blow after realizing what he’s in for this season,” the 31-year-old wrote. “(Expletive) bum. #BountyGate. #childish.” However, the Minnesota native later apologized for his choice of words. “My bad for the language,” he said.
The Super Bowl winner with the New Orleans Saints took over from Hackett in the offseason at the Broncos. He arrived in Denver to change the fortunes but stirred up controversy with his heated words.
“They can only beat the expletive out of you so much,” Payton said. “Everybody’s got a little stink on their hands. There’s so much dirt around. It was a poor offensive line. I don’t know Hackett. They were 29th in the league in pre-snap penalties.”
Payton also targeted the Jets, implying that the fans will see why he is correct about Hackett. Incidentally, the New York franchise will appear on HBO’s Hard Knocks this year.
Sean Payton angry with NFL’s gambling policy after the latest ban
Several players in the league have been banned by the NFL for gambling recently. This has forced teams to reshape their squads, and the Denver Broncos are no different. On Monday, their second-year defensive lineman, Eyioma Uwazurike, was suspended indefinitely. This has put Coach Sean Payton in a bad mood.
“When you have a bunch of players getting D’s,” the 59-year-old told USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday before their scheduled training camp. “You have to start looking at the message. And we’ve had a lot of D’s in our league this year with this policy.”
Payton continued, saying it’s a massive shame, as he is aware that every banned player will have to sit at home for a year for violating the policy. Uwazurike, too, will be missing football turf until July next year. Payton revealed that he tore up material about the policy, deeming it convoluted.
