The Miami Dolphins are doing their best to ensure they retain their key players on offense. The team recently signed wide receiver Braxton Berrios for another season as he inked a deal worth $3 million, his agency Rosenhaus Sports announced.

He joined the team last season after departing from the Jets and contributed to the team’s offense significantly. His extension with the Miami Dolphins was not just a celebratory moment for him but for his girlfriend Alix Earle as well.

She recorded the exact moment when the wideout found out that he was going to be retained by Miami. She captioned the post with “Finding out my if my bf is going back to the Dolphins or another team & will have to move away.”

Once Berrios got the official call from Drew Rosenhaus and told his girlfriend about the same, she could not help but scream with happiness and give him a hug. Alix Earle is a TikTok star and the couple was seen shortly after attending the basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks to celebrate this event.

Braxton Berrios played 16 games in the 2023 season and caught 27 passes for 238 yards with a touchdown. He averaged 10.2 yards on punt returns and 24.5 yards on kickoff returns. With this contract, the Miami Dolphins have succeeded in bringing their wide receiver core in Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Erik Ezukanma back for the upcoming season.

In his personal life, Braxton Berrios is contemplating tying the knot with his girlfriend Alix Earle. As they strolled through the streets of LA, the wideout was asked about settling down.

He revealed to a source that for now, things between them are “going well” and that despite being together for just a year, Earle and Berrios have become inseparable.

Berrios will hope to make a significant mark yet again this season. If he can have the same impact yet again, the Dolphins will bring him back and are likely to offer him a long-term extension. Miami had a good start to its 2023-24 campaign but as they began to embark on the harder part of their schedule, the team was unable to stay competent. The Dolphins will need to figure out a way to get over this hump this year.
