The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions. They already have a lot of eyeballs on them this season. However, the level of scrutiny increased this season with the entrance of a certain Taylor Swift to the Chiefs Kingdom.

The Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift relationship will be the talking point for weeks to come, however, according to a former Green Bay Packer, it will become a major headline if the Chiefs fail to win a Super Bowl this year.

Brett Favre, the legendary NFL quarterback, believes that the blame, although wrong, will fall on Swift if the Chiefs fail to repeat as title holders. The Chiefs haven’t had a dominant season. They limped to the playoffs with an 11-6 record and weren’t at their best in the regular season.

A lot of people blamed the Eras Tour singer for that. Favre, in a recent interview with TMZ, revealed that the Chiefs’ failure will be blamed on the pop star.

Favre said referencing the relationship:

If they don't win it, or get to the Super Bowl, people are going to say, 'That's why.' Until Andy Reid is unseated as the champion. I have to see it to believe it.

The Chiefs have gone past the first hurdle and won their Wild Card game against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday. However, the road will get tougher and tougher as they will play better teams in the next rounds. It will be interesting to if the Chiefs manage to win another Super Bowl, their first under the Taylor Swift era.

Brett Favre has high praise for Jordan Love and the Packers

The Green Bay Packers will take on the Dallas Cowboys in their Wild Card game on Sunday. It will be Jordan Love‘s first playoff game as the official Packers starter. He has had a good season and will look to lead his team to a deep playoff run. Former Packers’ QB, Brett Favre also feels that the Packers have got the right man under center.

All I can say is wow. Right now, he's playing as good as any quarterback in the league. You can only play in your first playoff game one time. Enjoy the moment.
