Brett Favre‘s legacy is currently under scrutiny after he was involved in a massive scam relating to the people of Mississippi. The legendary QB is accused of a scam worth more than $5 million.

The former Green Bay Packers QB was involved in the reported embezzlement with Governor Phil Bryant. There were texts uncovered stating Favre asking the governor if the scammed money can be traced back to him.

However, before all of this, Favre was an NFL legend and was hugely respected by the whole sporting community. Unfortunately, recent controversies have tarnished his reputation.

Jeff Pearlman the author of Favre’s biography recently went on an insane rant on Twitter to advise people not to read the book. The book was written several years ago when things were completely different. Pearlman took to Twitter to share his anguish with a witty tweet. The author reacted to the news of Favre taking sides in the Fox vs Tucker case and it filled him with rage.

“I wrote @BrettFavre’s biography. I’ll end the suspense and keep you from having to read: He’s a moron. The end,” Jeff Pearlman stated on Twitter. The Tweet was met with similar reactions where everyone called out Brett Favre for scamming the welfare fund of the people of Mississippi.

Brett Favre is on the verge of getting his whole legacy down the drain. The Packers QB was influential for his team for decades and won a Super Bowl with them. He also won 3 MVPs during his time in the NFL.

Regardless, the recent scenario is completely different and even the author of his book has given up on him. Jeff Pearlman went on an insane rant on Twitter and called out the Hall of Famer.

“Looking at it now, if I’m being brutally honest — I’d advise people not to read it. He’s a bad guy. He doesn’t deserve the icon treatment. He doesn’t deserve acclaim. Image rehabilitation. Warm stories of grid glory. His treatment of Jennifer Sterger was … inexcusable,” Jeff Pearlman stated on Twitter.

Brett Favre is a hall-of-fame QB who was considered a star during his prime. However, time has the ability to change everything and slowly everything that he has built is being demolished every day.
