Brittany Mahomes is a very polarizing figure. She’s either much loved by one section of social media or completely disliked by the other. Nothing in between. The wife of Patrick Mahomes is making headlines for all the wrong reasons again this time.
On Monday, January 29, CBS shared a video of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback leaving the M&T Bank Stadium after winning the AFC Championship game. He was accompanied by Brittany and brother, Jackson Mahomes.
Everything was fine and dandy until the 28-year-old Brittany was caught behaving rudely with the stadium guide. “Where do we go from here?” she asked in a condescending tone while spinning her finger to indicate the stadium.
Social media did not like Brittany Mahomes’ behavior
Despite being the better half of one of the most recognizable football players on the planet, fans seem to shrug their shoulders when they talk about Brittany Mahomes. It has even led to vile misogynistic remarks directed at her.
Most of the time, it’s her behavior during Chiefs games that rubs the fans the wrong way. It’s not easy to forget that in 2022, when she opened a champagne bottle and poured it all over the unsuspecting fans sitting below her in the freezing temperatures. So whenever Brittany has an impulsive reaction, social media remains ready to pass their judgment.
However, a few even came to her defense. They pointed out, that Brittany wasn’t being rude but rather just asking for directions.
She later apologized for the champagne incident. For now, there hasn’t been any update from her camp regarding the recent fiasco. Not that it will stop the online troll, but she has managed to handle it very well until now.
