The Kansas City Chiefs‘ game against the Los Angeles Chargers was a meaningless game for both teams. The Chiefs booked their postseason ticket after their week 17 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Chargers, on the other hand, were already eliminated from the playoff race. So both the teams rested their big players for the game. The Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes was one of those players.

However, his wife Brittany Mahomes was in attendance at the SoFi Stadium to watch the game. Despite her husband not playing, Brittany Mahomes managed to grab the headlines, for her outfit. Her new best friend and girlfriend of Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift, did not attend the game.

Brittany Mahomes’ outfit was the talk of the town as she wore an uninspiring oversized black jacket over a white top. She accessorised with black shoes and high-waisted, flared black jeans, sharing her look on Instagram Stories with the caption, “The golden light.”

Brittany is a huge celebrity and unquestionably the most well-known NFL wife in the game right now, but she might be a little overshadowed by her new friend Taylor Swift. The pop sensation, 34, caused a stir in her camp when she came out in California following the publication of an opinion piece in the New York Times that implied Swift might be gay, despite her developing romantic relationship with Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs clinched the division title and a playoff spot after their week 17 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. As a result of that, both Mahomes and Kelce were given rest against the Chargers on Sunday. The Chiefs won the game 13-12 and finished with a record of 11-6. They will play the Miami Dolphins in their Wild Card round matchup on Saturday.
