The Kansas City Chiefs’ superstar QB Patrick Mahomes is widely regarded as the best quarterback in the league. He is also one of the most popular sports athletes in the world. With that popularity comes great scrutiny, not just on him, but also on his family.

His wife Brittany Mahomes has also been under the public eye since her husband’s NFL debut. She recently came under the spotlight after a woman on TikTok claimed that the wife of the two-time Super Bowl champion had her “character assessed” as she failed to tip the restaurant staff.

Jessica O’Connor talked about her interactions with the Kansas City Chiefs player’s wife while working as a server at the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood in November.

Despite its release nearly two months ago, the video continues to gain popularity on social media. O’Connor claimed that Mahomes was shopping for a wedding dress “with her whole posse” when she left no gratuity, even though her bill exceeded $100.

O’Connor said:

They were there for almost a week and did not tip a single one of our staff. And not only did she not tip, she was just genuinely unpleasant... I only judge people based off of their character, and I think one of the easiest ways to judge someone’s character is how they treat someone in a position lesser than them. And let’s just say, character assessed.

Brittany has divided a lot of opinions among fans. However, Patrick Mahomes has always shown support to his wife. The couple tied the knot in March 2022 and have two children together.

The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t dominated the league like usual this season. They got into the postseason as a Wild Card team for only the second time with QB Patrick Mahomes at center. He will be rested for the final game of the season. The two-time league MVP will end up with the worst statistical season of his career.

The Super Bowl champion racked up 4,183 yards, 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions through 17 weeks of the season. He ended up with the worst passer rating since his rookie season in 2017, where he played only one game. However, Mahomes completed 67.2 percent of his passes, which is the career-best mark for him.

Mahomes’ TD-to-interception ratio has been the worst in his career this season. He will hope to have a much better postseason and lead his team to another Super Bowl title.
