The San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is engaged to his Iowa State sweetheart, Jenna Brandt. Purdy got down on one knee and proposed to Brandt last year on their one-year anniversary of being together.
While Purdy leads the 49ers to wins almost every week, Brandt is busy preparing for their big day—their marriage, of course. Doubt anyone would dare to call him “Mr. Irrelevant“—selected dead last in the NFL Draft.
Even if there are still a fleeting number of people who doubt his credentials as an elite QB, it doesn’t really matter. Why? Because Brandt has faith in her soon-to-be husband, and that’s pretty much the motivation one prays for. Who is Brock Purdy’s girlfriend, Jenna Brandt?
Jenna Brandt was born on October 26, 1999, and grew up in Sumner, Iowa, with her parents, Kevin Brandt and Amy Brandt. She also has three siblings: Kaylyn, Isaiah, and Morgan.
Her education began at Sumner-Fredericksburg High School, where she played volleyball and even became the captain of the team. She was also part of the track and field. Later, Jenna joined Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, in 2018 and chose to graduate in kinesiology.
This is the same year Brock Purdy became a student at Iowa and met Jenna. Even though she later transferred to Northern Iowa University, they stayed a couple.
Making the relationship Instagram Official
The young couple had appeared together on social media on a couple of occasions. However, they waited until November 2022 to make Instagram official. In the post, she shared a carousel of photos of the pair spending quality time with family at a farm.
Brandt captioned the post, “My roots and my boy.” Purdy commented, “My girl.” He introduced her to his parents, Shawn Purdy and Carrie Purdy. After browsing through her timeline, Brandt appears to be quite close with Purdy’s sister, Whitney.
When are Brock Purdy and Jenna Bradnt getting married?
Now to the main part of the question: when are Purdy and Brandt deciding to get married? Well, Purdy has already accomplished the hard part. He proposed to Jenna on a dock in Saint Cloud, Florida, in July 2023.
“My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever, babe. I love you, JB!” Brock Purdy wrote on Instagram, sharing some of their engagement pictures.
In a separate post, Jenna Brandt wrote, “We get to do life together forever! Brock Purdy: I love everything about you and your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”
Recently, she gave a sneak peek at when they were seeking to walk down the aisle. In her Instagram Story, she provided a countdown for their wedding: “less than 100 days, baby!” This could mean the couple could become Mr. & Mrs. Purdy between March 1 and March 9.
