The Denver Broncos were demolished by the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. They came into the game on the back of a couple of close defeats against the Las Vegas Raiders in week 1 and the Washington Commanders in week 2. The Dolphins, however, came out of the blocks swinging, and the Broncos were under the pump straight away.

The Broncos were thoroughly outplayed in every department as the Dolphins piled on 70 points for them. The Denver-based team became the first team since 1966 to allow 70 points in a game. There was frustration in the Broncos’ locker room after the game as offensive lineman Garett Bolles talked about the team’s 50-point loss to the Dolphins.

“Sh*t,” Bolles said when asked about how he was feeling after the game. “Tired of losing, man? I’ve been here for seven years, and all I’ve done is lose.” Bolles was drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was selected for the All-Pro second team in 2020 and has been one of the best players in his position in the NFL. The Broncos last made the playoffs in 2015. After their loss to the Dolphins on Sunday, the Broncos have fallen to 0-3.

The Denver Broncos will play the 0-3 Chicago Bears in their next game. They will look to get their first win of the season next Sunday. There was a lot of hype surrounding the Broncos prior to the start of the season. That hype, however, has turned to criticism after a terrible start to the season.

Denver Broncos’ HC Sean Payton at a ‘loss for words’ after a humiliating loss to the Dolphins

The Denver Broncos went into Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins expecting to end their two-game losing streak and get their first win of the season. Instead, the Dolphins poured in 70 points against the hapless Broncos, the most in a game since 1966. HC Sean Payton was asked about the humiliating loss after the game.

“Obviously that was embarrassing … I’m at a loss for words,” Payton told the reporters. “Every once in a while in the NFL you get your butt kicked, but this was different.” Payton snapped at a reporter at one point. When a reporter told Payton about the historic loss, Payton snapped saying,“I’m aware.”

The Broncos hired Payton at the beginning of this year’s offseason. He replaced former HC Nathaniel Hackett and was expected to take the Broncos to the next level after a horrific 2022 NFL season. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case, as the Broncos have already fallen into a 0-3 hole, and it will be a huge task to get to the playoffs from here on.
