This NFL season will be very crucial for the Denver Broncos who had a pathetic run last year. The team finished their last season with a record of 5-12 record. They almost matched their worst record of 4-12. The head coach Nathaniel Hackett had to leave his job and the team appointed Sean Payton instead. This season will be Payton’s and he will be in charge to turn the tables for the Broncos.
Ahead of their NFL journey, analyst Amy Trask sounded hopeful about the team’s upcoming venture. In one of his recent shows, the analyst was spotted expressing high hopes for Payton. She said that she has a firm belief that Payton will change the fortune of the Broncos and will be able to garner good results.
Not only that but also she said that Payton will be able to take the best out of Russell Wilson. The star quarterback had a pathetic season last year. He was at his career worst. The Broncos fans had high hopes for him, but in the end, he disappointed everyone.
“Sean Payton is going to bring out the best in Russell. … [Jimmy G] has shown us that you can win with him. Can you win because of him? We don’t know,” she said.
She further added, “We are going to see the best Russel that we saw before last year… if not entirely, certainly to some extent. Seon Payton does what the best coaches do. Gives positions to players to be their best.”

How did Russell Wilson perform last season?
Wilson had a dismal last year. He completed only 60.5% of his passes, threw for 16 touchdowns, and had a passer rating of 84.4. It was undoubtedly his most trying season yet. He will be in desperation to change things this season. For that, he needs to rely on Sean Payton.
However, the relationship between them is not in perfect swing. Payton recently criticized the star QB for his off-field life. Furious with Wilson’s off-field attitude, Payton said, “Will you f—ing stop kissing all the babies? You’re not running for public office?”
Wilson has a dynamic off-field life. He is conscious of his off-field image and always tries to portray himself as a good human. However, this focus on his personal brand has begun to impact his on-field performance over time.
