This offseason often brings with it a high dose of off-field drama. However, what has happened in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ camp over the past few weeks has actually left innumerable NFL fans scratching their heads in disbelief as the dose of drama has broken all records.

First, Tom Brady announced that he is ready to make a comeback, just a few weeks after he called it quits. The Bucs were ecstatic as their star QB decided to take the field yet again. However, there were speculations about Brady’s possible rift with head coach Bruce Arians, everyone in the Bucs, including Arians, categorically denied all such claims.

Just when everyone thought that the Bucs were starting to settle down, Arians abruptly decided to give up the position of the Bucs’ head coach. Innumerable people blamed Brady for pushing Arians out of the team against his will. Although Arians claimed that it was his choice to give up the coach’s seat, people weren’t ready to accept it.

Most recently, Arians, in a recent interaction with The Tampa Bay Times, stated that there is absolutely nothing wrong between him and Brady and went on to add that Tom has actually decided to spend $50,000 in order to purchase a retirement gift for the former coach.

Tom just sent me a picture. He got a present for me. It’s a $50,000 watch. He says he’s bringing it to me,” Arians said. “Who does that if we hate each other? As soon as he’s back in town, we’ll play golf,” he added. However, Arians also acknowledged that speculations about a rift between him and Brady will continue to exist.

It’s never going to go away, no matter what anyone says,” Arians said. “It’s a national narrative that they think they know, but they don’t.Tom was very in favor of what I’m doing. I mean, I had conflicts with every player I coached because I cussed them all out, including him. Great relationship off the field,” he further stated.
