What started as a night meant to be filled with fun turned out to be the last night of a 30-year-old Buffalo Bills fan who was fatally shot by an unknown person outside Hard Rock Stadium.
The shooting took place after the conclusion of the game between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills, a game in which the latter beat the home team.
The deceased, Dylan Brody Isaacs, was returning to his vehicle along with his friends after the game concluded on Sunday night.
However, an altercation ensued between Isaacs and the driver of another vehicle, as per The Guardian. The driver got agitated, pulled out a firearm, and then shot Isaac multiple times, which resulted in his death at the scene.
The driver who fired the shots then escaped from the scene in a Honda Accord. The vehicle was tracked and located in Palm Beach County the very next day. The vehicle was seized for the investigation, and law enforcement officials have identified and interrogated a suspect whose name has been kept under wraps.
The Buffalo Bills have not commented on the demise of the team’s fan
It is an ongoing investigation which is why there are a lot of details that are yet to be revealed. The internet and the Buffalo Bills’ fan community came together to create a GoFundMe page for Isaacs.
The purpose of this fund was to cover the costs of his funeral and to finance the transportation of his body to the Six Nations Reserve in Canada.
Dylan Isaacs was an avid basketball player and a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills. His mother Sue and brother Bradyn have begun to make arrangements for flying his body in to put him to rest. His aunt, Cecelia Skye, is handling the proceeds from the GoFundMe page.
Isaac’s mother recalled her son’s last words to her; they were “I love you, Mom,” and could not help but get emotional. It is unfortunate to see such instances happen at sporting events. May Dylan Isaacs rest in peace.
