Very few Quarterbacks in the National Football League have had the chance to throw to a great receiver and even fewer threw to two great receivers. LA Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford has thrown to one of the greatest wide receivers to ever have played in the National Football League and Cooper Kupp had one of the best season a wide receiver has ever had with 1947 receiving yards 2nd only to Calvin Johnson’s 1964 yards just shy of the elusive 2000 yards.

Megatron is a 1st Ballot Hall of Famer while Rams’ Kupp became the first receiver since Steve Smith Jr. to win the triple crown and had his 1st Pro Bowl selection. So when Stafford appeared on the I AM ATHELTE show hosted by former wide receiver Brandon Marshall and cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, Marshall put Stafford in a spot of bother when he asked Stafford who he would take.

Marshall asked Stafford-“You’re a general manager, You’re done. You play another 6 years-7years, won 2 more Super Bowl, you’re done. Now you move into the front office, you got a young Calvin Johnson and you got a young Cooper Kupp. Now they are both in their prime who do you take?“

Now that is a great situation to be in and Stafford decided to take the easy way out when he said-“ I’ll take them both.” When Marshall didn’t let him weasel out like that. Stafford asked about the type of offence he’s running. Marshall was ready with a simple I formation.

Stafford couldn’t help but show his admiration for the man they call Megatron -“I formation, Old man’s out on an island. Calvin is heck of a player outside. Cooper what he does for us inside, blocking, getting open, scoring. I mean you can’t go wrong with either one. I am dead serious.”

Marshall pointed out that the common denominator between Johnson and Kupp’s most receiving yards seasons which are respectively no.1 and no.2 with 1964 yards and 1947 yards is Stafford. Stafford replied with-“You said it not me.”

Stafford didn’t give an absolute answer and the question still lies Megatron or Cooper Kupp. Who you got?
