“I broke the rules, but it was worth it,” Camille Kostek shares a CRAZY story about how Gronk asked her out

Rob Gronkowski is one of the most dominating tight ends to ever play the game of football. Gronk has won four Super Bowls in his football career, however, the most important victory he secured while playing football is when he sneakily asked out his now-wife Camille Kostek.
After getting drafted by the New England Patriots in 2010, Rob Gronkowski played for them for the next nine years, helping them win multiple Super Bowls. Also, during his time with the Patriots, he found the love of his life, Camille Kostek. She had joined the Patriots franchise as a cheerleader in 2013. That’s when she caught the eyes of the Pats’ tight end, Gronkowski.
Gronk and Camille married in 2015 after she left the Patriots team as a cheerleader. The Duo had to keep their relationship secret for those two years but Camille has shared the crazy story about how Gronk asked her out.
“We were at a charity event in 2013 in November, and he put his number on a cheerleader poster I was signing that day,” the 30-year-old explained during Miami Swim Week 2022. “We were at Goodwill putting turkey baskets together for the less fortunate. I was doing the appearance for the cheerleaders. He was there for the football players.” said Camille.
She also revealed that Gronk got help from his teammate. “Jermaine Wiggins, an alumni player, brought this poster over and said, ‘Just take this; Rob has his number on there,’” Kostek continued. “I said, ‘Oh, my gosh, that’s kind of crazy. I’m never gonna call him or else I’ll get fired from the team.’ But then I called him, and I had to keep it a secret for like, two years. Fun fact.” said Camille about how Gronk asked her out.
Also in a recent Instagram post celebrating their 9th anniversary, Kostek shared that she broke a Patriots rule, and it was worth it “I broke the Patriots cheerleaders rules at the time and called him up … but it was worth it,” wrote Camille about how she broke the rule to call Gronkowski for the first time.

Is Gronk eying a return?
There are plenty of rumors going around the league that veteran TE Rob Gronkowski might be ready for a comeback from his retirement. The former Buccaneer announced his retirement in the 2022 off-season.
Gronkowski is still just 33 years old and could easily play for the next few years if he wants to but the 4-time Super Bowl Champion didn’t want to risk any more injuries and has already achieved everything a TE could hope for. Although there are rumors that he might be looking to reunite with his former teammate Tom Brady either this postseason with the Bucs or next year on a different team.
Gronk has nothing left to prove in this league and it’s unlikely to see him return to play football, as this is the second time he has announced his retirement. Nevertheless, one thing is clear, if he comes back he will come back to play for whatever team that Tom Brady plays for.
