Patrick Mahomes‘ younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, has been surrounded by controversies since he emerged in the foray. During one of the Chiefs’ games, Jackson was criticized for dumping a water bottle on opposing fans. Furthermore, he was also found dancing on the memorial for late Washington safety Sean Taylor, which fans deemed utterly disrespectful.

For this incident, Jackson was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center at 7.45 am, with his bond set at $100,00. The Kansas City Star in March covered the first report of this incident, which reported that Jackson was accused of assault by the restaurant owner and waiter.

In a statement, Mahomes’ attorney Brandan Davies said in early March, “Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements ofseveral witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”

The restaurant’s owner, Aspen Vaughn, has also reported how Mahomes’ grabbing her neck with force had left a faint bruise on her, which was evident through a photograph she had provided. “He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” said a traumatized Vaughn, who was very much shaken from the incident.

NFL fans and users on the internet are pouring in with anger and criticism towards Jackson Mahomes for his behavior. Several users have even questioned Jackson’s social media presence and popularity. Since this incident and the following accusations, Jackson has kept his social media activity limited.
