The Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the New England Patriots at the Gillette Stadium in New England. The Chiefs came into the game on the back of two losses. Their latest defeat came against the Buffalo Bills last Sunday. The game ended in controversial fashion after the Chiefs’ go-ahead touchdown was flagged for offensive offside. That ruling did not sit well with the Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes who was visibly upset with the call.

Mahomes received a lot of criticism for his behavior on the sidelines last Sunday. Against the Patriots, Mahomes threw a couple of picks and was understandably frustrated. The QB’s second pick, however, came because of a dropped pass from receiver Kadarius Toney, who was the receiver that was flagged for offensive offside against the Bills.

Mahomes’ first interception came in the first half after a short bullet pass was picked off brilliantly by the Patriots’ Marte Mapu. The QB threw his helmet away in frustration after getting off the field. His second interception came in the fourth quarter when Jahlani Tavai caught a pass that was bobbled by Toney. Mahomes was livid with how things transpired, but the Chiefs were already ahead by 17 points and eventually won the game, 17-27.

The Chiefs needed this win as they are now back in the race for the conference’s top seed. They will play their next game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas day. Mahomes finished the game with 305 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Fans roast Patrick Mahomes for expressing frustration after two picks against the Patriots

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs got right back on track as they won their week 15 game against the New England Patriots. It wasn’t an easy win for the Chiefs though, as Mahomes was picked off twice during the game. His second interception came because of a dropped pass by Kadarius Toney and Mahomes let his emotions get the better of him as he showed a lot of frustration on the sidelines.

Fans on social media mocked the reigning Super Bowl MVP for his sideline antics as he expressed annoyance after both his interceptions. It has been a rough week for the signal-caller as he was fined for his comments on the refs after the Chiefs’ last game against the Buffalo Bills. Here are some of the reactions.

The Chiefs have now improved to 9-5 for the season. Their next game will be against the Las Vegas Raiders and they will hope to win as many games as possible to have a shot at the top seed. Mahomes though, will have to keep his emotions in check for the Chiefs to have any chance of repeating as champions this season.
