Kansas City Chiefs defeated Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in one of the closest and most thrilling Super Bowls ever played. The game was like a match of tennis as the football ended up in the endzone of the Chiefs and the Eagles on every possession which made the game worth watching.

One would think that the rivalry between the teams would’ve ended after the Super Bowl and they would be definitely wrong! On Valentine’s Day Chiefs wide receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster shared Valentine’s message on Twitter trolling Eagles’ cornerback James Bradberry for his fourth-quarter holding penalty. This started an all-out brawl with fans and NFL players both thrashing the wideout.

A.J. Brown, star wideout for Philly took the most offense on JuJu’s meme and called him a ‘TikTok Boy’ and said that his career was resurrected by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. After Tyreek Hill left Kansas City, the club signed two new wide receivers to make up for the hole the ‘Cheetah’ left behind. Not a single person on the Internet appreciated JuJu’s tweet and most called him immature.

Fans are really brutal, and they can actually make a grown man cry from their comments and memes. While Melvin Gordon didn’t cry, he was heavily trolled by social media when he shared a photo with the Vince Lombardi Trophy and a cigar in his mouth on his Instagram. Seeing Gordon celebrate with the team, fans called him the guy who does zero work in a group project but gets the credit all the same.

Melvin Gordon was the 15th overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft and was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers. After completing his rookie contract with the Chargers, he signed with the Denver Broncos and extended his contract this season. However, after five fumbles in the regular season, he was cut by the Broncos and was then signed to the Chiefs’ practice squad a few months back in November.

The 29-year-old running back didn’t play a single snap in the regular season, playoffs, or even the Super Bowl just still ended the 2022 campaign with a Super Bowl ring. Gordon was interviewed at State Farm Stadium after the Chiefs won the finals and was asked by the reporters what was the difference between Kansas City and the other teams he has been on to reach the biggest stage in the NFL. Melvin candidly said, “The difference is I didn’t do shit,” and let out a laugh.

This was a really honest answer from Melvin Gordon and much respect for him. While this season didn’t go as planned for Gordon, he will definitely be utilized by the Chiefs on their offense next season. He has the potential to be a great running back, which was evident from his 2017 season. It’ll be interesting to see how Kansas City uses him as a weapon in 2023.
