The tight-end (TE) of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, has been grabbing a lot of media headlines since the very beginning of the season. His ‘relationship’ with the famous pop singer Taylor Swift has been subjected to a lot of media buzz.

The latest to add to the list is his number of catches in the NFL postseason. The TE is a game away from becoming the all-time leader in catches in the NFL postseason.

The TE is presently having 145 catches for 1694 yards, second, after Jerry Rice, who is leading the chart with 151 catches for 2245 yards. If Kelce grabs seven more catches in the next game, he will be the eventual leader of this stat.

From the very beginning of the season, Kelce has helped the team get over the wide receiver problem that they have suffered. He became the No.1 target for the Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes targeted Kelce every chance he got with his throws and also grabbed some records in the history book. The Chiefs players now have the most postseason TDs by QB-Receiver duo in NFL history.

Rice is one of the most legendary wide receivers that the NFL has ever had. He holds a handful records in his name. To date, the WR has covered the most yardage (2,245) and the number of touchdowns (18) in postseason games. Kelce does not come close to those records, but he can break the receptions record.

The Kansas City Chiefs proved all the critics wrong in the divisional game

The Chiefs are back again rolling and have proved their doubters wrong. They had loads of ups and downs in the regular season. The team lost six games but managed to seal a place in the postseason. In the postseason, the Chiefs found their form and Patrick Mahomes was at his usual best.

The Chiefs won a thrilling game against the Buffalo Bills. Even though they were behind for the first three quarters, the Chiefs made a comeback in the fourth quarter, finishing with a three-point lead. The Bills suffered a heartbreaking loss, coming so close to victory but falling short by just an inch.

The Chiefs will play their consecutive sixth AFC Championship game. This time, they will face the Ravens. They can move on to another Super Bowl.
