The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills for the third straight time in the postseason. The former’s narrow 3-point victory over the latter in the Divisional Round has made it clear that during the regular season, Josh Allen has had Patrick Mahomes‘ number but when it comes to the playoffs, it is the complete opposite.
There has been one common trend that has remained the same in all the three Bills’ losses to the Chiefs. Stefon Diggs, the wide receiver for Buffalo, has this habit of staying back on the field after all of his teammates have gone to the locker room to watch the Kansas City Chiefs celebrate.
He has been doing this since the first time Buffalo lost to the team in the playoffs. The reasoning behind it is so that he can carry this image in his mind and train harder so that he can come back stronger the following season and beat this team.
Well, that is yet to happen and frankly, at this point, it has become a meme of sorts. Willie Gay Jr. the linebacker of the Chiefs, trolled Diggs after the team beat the Bills yet again. It was an image of the wideout standing and watching the Chiefs celebrate.

Stefon Diggs had 21 yards in the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Chiefs
Gay Jr. shared a meme that had the caption:
Blud been standing there for 3 years. What's his plan? He not tired?
He called out Stefon Diggs head-on for doing this year-over-year and ultimately coming back to play the same old way the following season. It was all a show for nothing. The photo appeared to be from last season.
Diggs was better off not playing in his team’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He ended the game with 3 receptions for 21 yards and no touchdowns. He had one rushing attempt and managed to rack up 7 yards on the same. But apart from that, there was not much output from Diggs.
The wide receiver has expressed his frustration about the Kansas City Chiefs and his own team in the last offseason. He wants to be given more targets; he wants to step up and be the reason that the Bills are able to get over their Divisional rivals.
After a third-straight loss, there is a possibility that Diggs would want a change of scenario. This was Buffalo’s best shot at beating the Chiefs and yet they failed.
