The Miami Dolphins are currently preparing to face their division rivals Buffalo Bills in a must-win game in week 18. They have to win the game to clinch the AFC East division title, which would guarantee them at least one playoff game. Amidst this, the Dolphins’ most important player Tyreek Hill is dealing with an off-field issue as his mansion caught fire, leading to massive damage.

On Wednesday noon, firefighters were summoned to Hill’s Southwest Ranches home, which he bought for nearly $7 million just a year ago. The firemen worked for more than 45 minutes to put out the fire, which was later classified as a two-alarm fire.

The massive fire left a huge hole in the roof and substantial smoke and water damage inside per reports. And now, a day after the unfortunate incident, the cause of the fire has been revealed. Robert Taylor, fire marshal with Davie Fire Rescue revealed the cause to CBS Miami in a statement.

The investigation identified that the fire was an accidental and was caused by a child playing with a lighter within a bedroom where the fire started. Fortunately, all occupants of the home were able to evacuate safely, and there were no injuries.

The Miami receiver was in the practice and arrived at to house only after the incident. He left the practice facility after hearing about the fire incident in his mansion. The investigation regarding the incident has been closed after they deemed it an accident.

Taylor confirmed that none of the occupants in the house were harmed by the incident and were all evacuated safely. Amidst this, after fans found out the fire was caused by a child, some fans on social media had some insane reactions.

NFL fans on social media went wild after finding out the Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill’s mansion caught fire as a result of a child playing with a cigarette lighter.

The Dolphins receiver is currently facing two paternal lawsuits from two different women claiming that Hill is the father of their sons. Fans used that to troll the Dolphins receiver. Some also trolled Hill using allegations of him beating his kid in the past. Check out the reactions attached below.

On the sporting side of things, Tyreek Hill is currently suffering from an injury and wore knee braces in practice sessions. However, he is expected to play this weekend during Miami’s game against the Bills.

The Dolphins could seal the AFC’s No.2 seed and the AFC East division title if they defeat the Bills on Sunday. However, if they lose they’ll drop to No.6 seed and will have to face the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead in the wildcard weekend.
