Chris Broussard believes the Jets won’t even make it to the playoffs without Aaron Rodgers, pick Tyreek Hill’s Dolphins to make the cut
Aaron Rodgers will miss the entire tournament

Aaron Rodgers will take a long time to recover. It will take nearly 18 months for him to return to the field. Hence, it is evident that the New York Jets will not be able to receive his service this season. A disappointing start for them and for their fans as everyone was eagerly waiting to see the two-time MVP winner thrashing everyone with his skills. However, all went in vain as the player suffered an injury and does not seem to come back this season.
But what will happen to the Jets? Do they have any opportunity this season without Rodgers? Analysts seem to have different opinions while addressing this question. While Stephen A. Smith said that the Jets do have chances to make it to the playoffs, Chris Broussard does not seem hopeful about the Jets’ future without Rodgers.
In one of the episodes of the popular podcasting show,’ First Things First,’ Broussard said, that Jets are not going to the semifinals this season. The absence of Rodgers will cost them a lot. “Excuse me, did I stutter? Was there no base in my words? They are not making the playoffs,” the analyst added.
Instead of picking the Jets for the playoffs, the analyst threw his bet on the Miami Dolphins for this year’s NFL playoffs from the AFC East Division. The Dolphins had a decent start in this league. Like the Jets, the Dolphins also started their season on a positive note. What is different from the Jets is that Dolphins’ stars like Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill are in decent shape. Tagovailoa recovered from a long-lasting injury and stunned everyone with his abilities. Hills, on the other hand, also had a decent game. Hence, the Dolphins’ fans can make their bets on both of them.

Zach Wilson has to step up for the Jets in Aaron Rodgers’ absence

Zach Wilson has found himself in the backup position since Rodgers joined the Jets. In some surprising turn of events, he got a call against the Bills. He performed decently, had an impact on the game, and led his team to win.
Since Rodgers is out for the season, he has to take charge. The player believes that he is ready and willing to step into the shoes of Rodgers when it will be needed. He is in better shape and with the help of Rodgers’ lesson, he believes he can provide when it is needed.
Last year, the Jets were in better shape and were marching towards the playoffs. They had a 7-4 record. However, they lost consecutive six games and failed to qualify for the playoffs. This year, they will have the determination to reach the playoffs.
