The former teammates Chris Jones and Tyreek Hill have gotten into a tussle on social media after the speedy wide receiver issued a warning to Patrick Mahomes & Co. months ahead of the Chiefs-Dolphins 2023 match-up.

During his recent appearance on Sports Radio 810, Tyreek Hill, who left the Chiefs after the 2021 season warned the Kansas City-based franchise about how he will pull out his signature peace sign against them.

“Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gonna do?” Hill said. “Guess what we gonna do? I hate to say it, man. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all, I hate to do it! But guess what? I’m gonna be y’all worst enemy that day. I’m gonna be y’all worst enemy that day.”

His aggressive warning ruffled a lot of feathers on social media. The seven-time Pro Bowler received a lot of backlash for his trash talk from the Chiefs Kingdom on social media. Besides even his former teammate Chris Jones clapped back at him with multiple tweets.

After the Miami Dolphins’ star wideout Tyreek Hill sent the first warning shot, the Chiefs All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones clapped back with multiple tweets on social media.

“May God bless him,” wrote Jones in his first tweet before firing back with another one. “The only sign [peace sign] he throwing up is walking to the bus after the game,” tweeted Jones.

Tyreek Hill has never really talked trash about the Chiefs or the Chiefs players ever since he was traded. Even now, the former teammates are probably just joking around on social media.

Hill had the best season of his career so far catching career-high 119 passes for 1710 yards and 7 touchdowns. Even though Hill had elite production, the Chiefs somehow didn’t miss the receiver at all, Patrick Mahomes had the best season of his career so far winning the league MVP and the Super Bowl MVP in 2022.

It’s rare to see both parties somehow get even better after parting ways in the NFL. Nevertheless, even before the start of the 2023 season, the 4-time All-Pro receiver has given the bulletin-board material for the Chiefs. The schedule for the 2023 season hasn’t been announced yet but the Chiefs and the Dolphins fans will already be excited about that matchup.
