The Houston Texans are LEGIT. The team just schooled the Cleveland Browns led by veteran QB Joe Flacco and made them look like a varsity team.
The final score was 45-14, which summarizes it all. While QB C.J. Stroud had himself a night as he threw for 274 yards and 3 touchdowns, the Texans’ defense really spearheaded the team’s demolition run tonight.

The Texans recorded back-to-back interceptions from Steven Nelson and Christian Harris which demoralized the Browns and put the game beyond the team’s reach. There was no potential for a comeback. Christian Harris’ interception in particular was executed to perfection and put on display his high football IQ. The linebacker ripped the opponent’s soul with this one play.

On the 4th & 2 play, Harris took his time and patiently waited in his position as per the coverage. He did not move even after the ball was snapped and the wide receiver began to move in position. Within a matter of seconds, Joe Flacco threw the ball to Cedric Tillman, who was wide open, well, at least Flacco thought he was…until he wasn’t.
The Houston Texans defense played at an elite level against the Cleveland Browns
Harris swooped in from his original position and easily intercepted the pass directed to Tillman. That play was executed to perfection. Harris then ran for 36 yards before being brought down.
It was pure defensive IQ that he used on this play because no coach can make this up or predict it. He has definitely been watching film because Harris clearly expected the ball to go to Tillman.

The Houston Texans demolished the Cleveland Browns. Joe Flacco had his incredible run come to an abrupt end as he threw for two consecutive interceptions and managed to record just one touchdown. It was just not the night for the Browns.
Houston, on the other hand, was prepared. Stroud showed up and led the offense as he has done throughout the season. The defense executed every play to perfection and put pressure on the Browns’ offense and drastically limited what the team could do. It was a well-deserved victory for the Texans, a team that nobody expected to make the playoffs is now headed to the Divisional Round.
