Pop sensation Taylor Swift, who is dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has Christian McCaffrey‘s mother Lisa McCaffrey boycotting her ahead of the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs is scheduled for February 11. However, there is drama developing between the parties because Taylor Swift is dating Travis Kelce, who is competing against Christian McCaffrey, Lisa’s son.

Swift is clearly a Chiefs fan, but Christian McCaffrey’s mother doesn’t want anything to do with the “Blank Space” singer because her son plays for the 49ers. She claims to be boycotting the pop icon all the way.

On her podcast “Your Mom,” Lisa McCaffrey recently talked about the upcoming NFL game. Lisa claims that this week, Christian and his family are not going to listen to any Taylor Swift songs as they get ready for the Super Bowl.

I refuse to listen to Taylor Swift songs for the next couple [of] days--I love her, I love the relationship, but we are boycotting any T. Swift songs. But if she pops up on the radio station . . . nope. She’s dead to us this week.
Lisa McCaffrey said.

Next Sunday, February 11, at 6:30 p.m. ET in Las Vegas, the Super Bowl will begin. San Francisco hasn’t taken home the Lombardi Trophy since the 1994 campaign, while Kansas City will be going for their third championship in the previous five years.

Christian McCaffrey’s mother blames Taylor Swift for high Super Bowl ticket prices

As Swift continues to attend games after beginning her relationship with Travis Kelce, Christian McCaffrey’s mother has voiced her disapproval of the high cost of tickets for Super Bowl LVIII between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. She has chosen to hold Taylor Swift responsible for the demand.

Christian McCaffrey’s fiancée Olivia Culpo breaks silence on rumors about CMC not being able to afford a $2.5 million suite at Super Bowl

I wanted eight tickets together--So we felt strongly about everybody being together. So anyway, long story short, they're outrageously expensive. They're stupid expensive as I don't know if it's the Taylor Swift factor. If it's the first time in Vegas factor. There's so much going on.
Lisa McCaffrey added.

According to Ticket Rev’s research, the average ticket cost for the game is a staggering $10,752 before accounting for taxes and additional fees. Premium suites located near the center line can soar to as high as $80,100, a price tag tenfold greater than the cheapest ticket.

Olivia Culpo made a grand gesture following the McCaffrey matriarch’s admission that she desired a suite but couldn’t afford one, adding that even her son couldn’t afford them. In order to keep Lisa McCaffrey safe from the bitter cold of the Nevada desert during her son’s game viewing, she paid $2 million to purchase her future mother-in-law a suite.
