The Miami Dolphins’ win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday was a big one. Both these teams are Super Bowl contenders this season as they have had spectacular seasons so far. The Dolphins came into the game on the back of a dominant 30-0 victory over the New York Jets, whereas the Cowboys lost their week 15 game against the Buffalo Bills away from home.

The Dolphins players were understandably excited after the win. It was a hard-fought victory as both teams played well throughout the game. One player who was very excited after the win was the Dolphins’ DT Christian Wilkins. Miami’s first-round pick in the 2019 draft, Wilkins celebrated in the locker room and almost knocked over the Dolphins’ owner Stephen Ross.

In a video posted on Twitter by Ari Meirov, Wilkins can be seen pumped up after the win. The defenseman chest-bumped a team member and then proceeded to do the same with the Dolphins’ 83-year-old owner, Stephen Ross. The owner was equally hyped up, but his age did not allow him to jump as high as the athletic Wilkins. It was still a very fun locker room moment.

The Dolphins will play their next game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens hold the best record in the league after their week 16 win against the San Francisco 49ers. Winning that game will boost the Dolphins’ confidence just weeks before the postseason.

Miami Dolphins’ HC Mike McDaniel jokingly taunts franchise legend Dan Marino

The Miami Dolphins’ head coach, Mike McDaniel is a very interesting character. He has led the Dolphins to an 11-4 record and has delivered some hilarious soundbites throughout the campaign. McDaniel had a very funny interaction with Dolphins legend Dan Marino.

Before their game against the Dallas Cowboys, Miami captains Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Xavien Howard met with Marino on the sidelines. McDaniel was following behind the players and joking with Marino as he said:

Our captains are really f****** good players. Holy s***, look at these f****** studs. … Yeah, Dan Marino! F*** your records, Dan. We’re coming for your records, Dan.

The Dolphins went on the field and defeated the Cowboys, 22-20. They are second in the AFC behind the Baltimore Ravens, against whom they will play this week. The Dolphins are one of the contenders to win the AFC this season and McDaniel is a huge reason for that.
