Who does not like to watch movies? Especially when the show is loaded with superstars. Even star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a film buff and loves to catch a film or two whenever he finds time for it. But his fans must be wondering what genre of movies or which directors are the favorites of the veteran quarterback.

Not so long ago, he revealed that he was a massive Quentin Tarantino fan and loved watching his Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Bastards. Rodgers also praised D. B. WeissGame Of Thrones series. After his move to the New York Jets, the 39-year-old had been having the time of his life, going to concerts and even movie premieres. In a recent interview with NFL.com, Aaron Rodgers claimed that he loves Christopher Lloyd‘s Back to the Future movie series, which, according to him, is a must-watch.

“It is a must-watch,” the 10-time Pro Bowler said. “I am a fan. 1 then 3, then 2 is my order. I am a big fan of 3.” The first Michael J. Fox-starred came out in 1985 when Rodgers was only two years old. So basically, he grew up during the golden age of Hollywood sci-fi.

Then the host asked Rodgers whether he had seen the recent sensations Barbie and Oppenheimer, or better yet, Barbenheimer. He had a mixed reaction to the question. But his reaction suggests that he is a big Christopher Nolan fan.

“I have not. I have heard about, you know, some stuff going on, like the atom bomb going off, during some parts of the movie. But I haven’t seen it yet,” Rodgers revealed. “But I have seen Oppenheimer. I thought it was great. If I had watched it at maybe 6 o’clock, then I would have loved it. But it was 9 o’clock, so I really, really liked it.”

Clearly, the time difference affected his viewing experience of the latest Nolan film. However, Rodgers immediately declared that “he’s a huge” fan of the director and also revealed his favorite movie of his. The Prestige, starring Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman, is Aaron Rodgers’ favorite pick from the highly celebrated director’s filmography.

It has only been a few months since Aaron Rodgers bid goodbye to his former team, the Green Bay Packers, and became a Jet. His legacy with the franchise will always be remembered. Naturally, to pay tribute to his time at Lambeau Field, the fans would demand that the Packers retire his No. 12 jersey. But owner Mark Murphy has other ideas.

“I want to thank Aaron Rodgers for all he did in 18 years,” Murphy told ESPN. “He will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. We will retire his number at the appropriate time.”

The retirement talks are nothing new for the Packers, as they have been discussing them in their shareholder meeting for the past three years. Murphy was aware that Rodgers would eventually leave at some point. So they went out and drafted Jordan Love as a replacement. Love will start as the primary Packers center in the 2023 season.
