The recent Israel-Palestine war saga has hit the NFL world, as a lot of people are extending their support to the Zionist nation. The latest to join the bandwagon is the Cincinnati Bengals as they lit their stadium up with blue and white light which resembles the Israel flag.

Both Israel and the US share very good diplomatic ties. Hence, it becomes obvious for the teams who share US pride to stand by the Israel cause. The Bengals are certainly no exception.

Since the attack took place, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the country, spoke with Joe Biden to take positive actions against Hamas. The US billionaires have contributed significantly to the ‘Israeli’ cause. Arthur Blank, the owner of the Atlanta Falcons, contributed $750k through his charitable organizations for the treatment of the war victims. He also made a plea to others to come up for the cause.

The US government has already expressed its solidarity through diplomatic understandings and now the essential elements of the US society like the NFL are also expressing their solidarity for Israel.

Prior to Bengals and Arthur, it was Alex Anzalone who raised his concern over the war. The Lions LB’s parents are reportedly stuck in the country as they went to enjoy their vacations as a part of a tourist group. They got stuck as the war broke out and Anzalone took the issue to Twitter and expressed his concerns.

The linebacker wrote, “It’s hard. (It’s) really all I’ve been thinking about. My parents are in this group. Please get my parents home… @POTUS.” The player also made a plea to Joe Boden for taking measures in the entire scenario. However, Anzalone does not need to think a lot as the people, part of the tourist group, are reportedly safe.

The Bengals need a much-needed victory against the Seahawks

On the sports side of things, the Cincinnati Bengals will look to seek a victory in the game vs. the Seattle Seahawks. They have only won two out of their five games. The team’s latest win came against the Arizona Cardinals. The management believes it is the right time for them to accelerate if they have to make it to the playoffs.

Speaking on the occasion, Zac Taylor, the head coach of Bengals told Dayton Daily News, “We have to continue to build this and improve. It wasn’t always perfect through the course of the game. We could have been so much better in all areas. That was kind of the message to the guys is (we are) happy that we won and proud of them, but we have to get better real fast.”
