The Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud is having a great time in his rookie season. The QB became the fifth quarterback ever to complete more than 4,000 passing yards in his rookie year. In addition, he led his team to the postseason after achieving a stellar victory against the Indianapolis Colts.

The entire team had a gala time in the dressing room. C.J. Stroud and his head coach DeMeco Ryans were spotted cheering and dancing in joy.

A short video captured their celebration. The video that went viral on social media expressed that both personnel were dancing, and at the end, they were seen running towards each other and hugging. The video garnered positive reactions from fans on social media.

There is no secret that both Stroud and Ryans share a very good relationship. Ryans openly praised the rookie a lot of times earlier. And their partnership was pivotal to taking the team to the playoffs almost after five years.

The coach-QB duo made the Texans squad a transformative one. This season, they have competed with the bigshots and beat them with the presence of mind of the rookie quarterback. Against the Colts, he was instrumental again.

Stroud connected with the team’s wide receiver Nico Collins multiple times and clinched the victory for the team. The QB ended the game with 264 yards with two touchdowns, whereas Collins finished the game off with nine receptions for 190 yards.

Collins acknowledged the quarterback after the game. He appreciated Stroud as one of the finest passers of the ball.

He's one of the best passers in this league and he shows it game in and game out. You can just tell that (Stroud's) got that it factor. 

C.J. Stroud has surpassed 4,000 passing yards in his rookie yard

On Saturday, Stroud surpassed 4,000 yards as a rookie quarterback this season. He became the fifth quarterback to do so. Before him, it was Andrew Luck, Justin Herbert, Cam Newton, and Jamies Winston. This season the Texans QB has registered 23 touchdowns against five interceptions.

With his stellar record, the QB is presently the favorite for the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. He was earlier hyped for the MVP Award as well but was left behind as the season passed. But, he is certainly the most hyped for the ORoY Award.

The Texans finish their 2023 regular season with a 10-7 record. They also have a strong chance of clinching their seventh AFC South division title.
