Since September 2023, one relationship has had the entire world in a chokehold. It’s the Travis Kelce–Taylor Swift romance. It started earlier in the season, when Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs-Chicago Bears game in week 3. Since then, it has been all over the news. Everyone has an opinion on the couple. Not all opinions are positive though, some believe that their relationship is nothing but a marketing stunt.

A relationship between one of the best players in the NFL and a global superstar is bound to attract negativity. However, Chiefs’ owner Clark Hunt has quashed all those negative opinions about the relationship between Kelce and Swift. He revealed that the romance was purely organic and is not a marketing stunt.

Hunt said in a recent CNBC interview:

It’s been a very interesting, very fun year, having the two of them dating. The attention that’s been focused on the Chiefs. Our female audience has grown leaps and bounds.
Clark Hunt said

He further talked about the theories that the entire relationship is a marketing stunt by the NFL:

It was purely organic. When they were just starting off dating, there were a lot of people saying, ‘No, it’s a marketing stunt,’ but no, it’s very real, and the most important thing is we’re very happy for the two of them.

Swift and Kelce have been spotted together multiple times this year. They haven’t tried to hide their relationship as the Eras Tour singer has attended multiple Chiefs games during the regular season and was in the stadium to cheer her boyfriend during the Chiefs’ Wild Card win last Saturday.

Clark Hunt had high praise for Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift

The Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance has got the whole world buzzing. Swift has attended multiple Kansas City Chiefs games so far and during one of the games, she got to meet with the team’s owner, Clark Hunt. The owner came out of that interaction with a newfound respect for the pop star.

He also had the opportunity to watch Swift perform at the Arrowhead Stadium. Hunt said in a recent feature on Mad Money:

I've had a chance to meet her at one of the many games that she's attended this year, and she's just as sweet as she can be. What an incredible performer! I mean, just one of the most amazing artists of our time.
Clark Hunt said

The Chiefs will take on the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round of the playoffs on Sunday. Swift will be expected to be at the game to cheer on the Chiefs. She attended the Chiefs’ Wild Card win over the Miami Dolphins last Saturday.
