Cole Beasley has had an extensive career in the NFL and decided to hang up his cleats for good earlier this year. However, an enticing offer from the Bills made him reconsider things and the former Bucs WR is back in the NFL.
Beasley played three seasons with the Bills before and was a reliable target to QB Josh Allen. The Bills WR had 82 catches for 693 yards and one touchdown in 16 games during his final season with the Bills.
The Bills were also interested in the esteemed WR Odell Beckham Jr. but decided to go the other route and signed Beasley instead. The 33-year-old was with the Bucs when he retired.
The Bills are expected to make a possible Super Bowl run this season and Beasley will be highly important to them as their WR Jamison Crowder is still on the injured reserves list.
The 33-year-old WR will combine with Stefon Diggs and provide help for QB Josh Allen, who’s also in the running for the NFL MVP award. It is rumored that Cole Beasley has just joined the Bills to help them with the playoffs and it’s a short-term contract. The Bills WR will be really happy with his homecoming, however the same can’t be said about the people on social media.

Cole Beasley was embroiled in a massive controversy that saw him get released from the Bills. The controversy was majorly focused on his denial to not accept the COVID vaccination, which was compulsory to start the NFL regular season after a huge halt.
Beasley was also critical rules in the NFL and the Bills had warned him to look for a trade in the subsequent offseason, but the veteran WR was let off in March.
NFL Twitter was divided over Beasley’s signing for the Bills as many accepted his hiring, while there were also people who highly criticized him for his anti-vaccine stance.
