Will Levis certainly got the short end of the stick when the QB had to go home without getting drafted on the first day. It must have been a major embarrassment for him and his family, who looked pretty ‘excited’ throughout. Instead of the QB himself, it was Will Levis’ girlfriend who made headlines on Day 1 due to her bold looks.

The 23-year-old QB was predicted to be a top-10 pick during the 2023 NFL draft. However, his hopes kept decreasing as soon as the numbers started to go up.

Nonetheless, he was ultimately drafted by the Tennessee Titans on the second day of the draft. Levis was the 33rd overall pick in the draft and wasn’t even available in the venue, unlike his first day.

Levis was supposed to get drafted with the elite QB class of 2023, including Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, and Anthony Richardson. Although all 3 of them were drafted before No.5, it was Levis who had to wait until the second day and Colin Cowherd knew why.

Colin Cowherd knew exactly the reason behind Will Levis’ situation and he himself is to blame for the condition he is in. The NFL analyst had called out the former Kentucky QB for being a bodybuilder and flaunting it on social media.

“This is lack of self-awareness,” Colin Cowherd stated on the Herd. “Maybe he’s surrounded with too many of his guys and too many of his yes men.”

Cowherd had advised Levis to stay away from bathroom selfies and look like a loser on the Internet. The ‘Herd’ host also believes that a great body has nothing to do with being a great QB.

Will Levis was recently called out for his various social media choices and maybe that’s the reason many teams passed on him in the first round. The Kentucky QB has a great body. However, Colin Cowherd believes that being a great QB is more about smartness and not the ‘gun show’.

He also went on to give a shout out to former New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and former Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning while applauding their game and legacy.

“There are no great quarterbacks in league history who look like bodybuilders,” Colin Cowherd stated. “You want fluidity and range of motion.” Although Will Levis is a talented QB, his recent actions have led him to be out of favor with many fans and teams.

Cowherd strongly believes that Levis should instead focus more on perfecting his game rather than clicking pictures for social media. As he is a football player first and a celebrity later.
