Justin Fields was drafted by the Chicago Bears as the 11th in the 2021 NFL draft. Since then, the young quarterback has struggled with consistency and finding his footing in the NFL.
The Bears believe Fields hasn’t shown enough progress in the past two years and will be under extreme pressure when the next NFL season comes around. Colin Cowherd was recently featured on the Herd and gave his top 5 list of QBs under the most pressure.
Fields ranked first on the list, and Cowherd had his reasons why. The Bears QB has the worst record in the league in the past two seasons and has completed just 59% of his passes.
Cowherd believes that the Bears have provided him with all the necessary resources. Still, the quarterback has failed to perform and is under immense pressure due to that.
“No.1 is Justin Fields, he’s completed 59% of his throws in 2 years and has the worst record of any starting quarterback in the league,” Colin Cowherd stated on the Herd. “Excuses are over, big market media wants wins, he’s been given all sorts of help to get the W.”
The Bears had the worst record in the NFL last season and failed to make a massive impact in their division. Next season will be critical for Justin Field’s future, as he has no option but to perform irrespective of all the excuses.

Justin Field was accompanied by Aaron Rodgers in the most pressured QBs list

Aaron Rodgers was ranked 4th on the list by Colin Cowherd, while Justin Fields took the 1st spot. The veteran quarterback has just completed his move from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets.
“It’s New York, It’s a new team and he’s a Hall of Famer but there’s some pressure here. Hard Knocks, High expectations, and a probable Super Bowl,” Colin Cowherd stated on the Herd. “He’s minted, we all know that. He doesn’t want to win the Super Bowl, it’s fine.”
Rodgers has nothing to prove in the NFL. However, the team that he signed for has not made the playoffs in 23 years. On the other hand, there are massive expectations that the 39-year-old QB will lead them to a Super Bowl.
This brings massive expectations for Rodgers, who will play his first season in New York after almost two decades in Green Bay. Interestingly, the QB himself is looking forward to the opportunity and is highly positive about it.
Justin Fields and Aaron Rodgers are two quarterbacks who are on completely different spectrums according to their age and achievements. However, the pressure is still on them to perform next season.
