“One reached the Superbowl, the other …”: Colin Cowherd draws BIG comparison between Jimmy Garoppolo and Tua Tagovailoa

Jimmy Garoppolo and Tua Tagovailoa
The San Francisco 49ers completed a convincing 38-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL Mexico game played at the Estadio Azteca stadium in Mexico City, Mexico, on Monday. The 49ers are now in a commanding position of 6-4 for the season and are leading the NFC WEST Conference.
The San Francisco 49ers had decided to stick with youngster Trey Lance as their starting quarterback for the new season, but unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending ankle injury, which will keep him sidelined for a considerable amount of time.
This has presented Jimmy Garoppolo with the opportunity to showcase his skill once again and he was his best against the Arizona Cardinals completing 20-of-29 passes for 228 yards and four touchdowns.
Colin Cowherd is disappointed with the disrespect given to Jimmy Garoppolo

Popular NFL analyst and talk show host Colin Cowherd spoke highly about Jimmy Garoppolo on the Herd with Colin Cowherd show after his performance against the Cardinals. Cowherd drew comparisons between Jimmy G and Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins, saying that if people admire Tua, they should do so for Garoppolo as well, since both have similar playing styles.
“Jimmy Garoppolo is one of the top four quarterbacks in the entire National Football League. Jimmy G delivers in the big spots. All I’ve been hearing this year is you gotta love Tua. Well, if you love Tua, you have to love Jimmy G. Both are facilitators and not elevators with brilliant coaches that need great weapons to flourish, but certainly win a lot when they get them the ball. The only difference is Jimmy Garoppolo has reached a Superbowl, Tua may or may not,” said Colin Cowherd.
“There’s not a single NFL player that is more disrespected than [Jimmy] Garoppolo. … Go look at the NFL standings, take a yellow marker out, start yellowing the teams that would be better this morning if Garoppolo was the quarterback. It gets real close to half the league,” Cowherd said. “The Niners are now – with a brilliant coach, great defense for years, and very good weapons, they are 40-19 when Garoppolo starts. They’re 9-29 with every other quarterback.”
