Colin Cowherd RIDICULES Dak Prescott’s comments on the Cowboys finally building momentum for a Super Bowl run
Cowherd also believes that Dak Prescott is only a B/B+ rated quarterback.

As the NFL season draws closer, people start to compare which team has the best chance of winning. On paper, the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, along with the San Francisco 49ers, are the favorites to win the NFC and reach the playoffs. But Colin Cowherd has downplayed the Cowboys’ chances.
Colin Cowherd’s net worth is around $25 million and he believes that Dak Prescott‘s led Cowboys records speak for themselves, as they only have four playoff wins since 2000. Even though the Cowboys have had a decent couple of seasons, last year they recorded a 12-5 record and only lost to the 49ers in the Divisional Round.“The Cowboys, for me, in the last 15 years, I have had the same opinion every year on them,” said Cowherd on the recent episode of ‘The Herd’. “They are pretty good, like, one star, six or seven pretty good players, and as good as Philadelphia on any offensive unit.”
However, he only limited the Cowboys, saying, “That’s reasonable for their over and under of nine-and-a-half. I take the under, but that’s about what they are.” Cowherd then declared the Eagles having a better overall squad compared to the Cowboys. The host of the Herd then said the Cowboys would win at least nine games. Apart from that, he will be surprised if they manage to conjure something out of the remaining eight.
According to him, both Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy and quarterback Dak Prescott are not elite, and Jalen Hurts, Aaron Rodgers, and Tua Tagovailoa are better. “Mike McCarthy is a ‘B’ to ‘B+’ coach, and Dak is a ‘B’ to’ B+’ quarterback and not as good offensively as Philadelphia,” said Cowherd. “No. B to B+ quarterbacks and coaches don’t do that (win the Super Bowl) in the NFL in 2023.”
Are the Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott that bad, as Colin Cowherd says?
While the Eagles may be formidable with Jalen Hurts, people keep forgetting the key replacements they made during the offseason. They replaced their previous offensive coordinator Shane Steichen with Brian Johnson and Sean Desai. Moreover, they let go of eight first-team starters. With that many changes, the Eagles are now an unknown entity.
The Cowboys, on the other hand, have bolstered their squad with cornerback Stephon Gilmore and receiver Brandin Cooks. Dak Prescott had lively OTAs and looks like he is ready for the new season.
With a player like Cooks by his side, Prescott can allow for more dynamic throws to the sides. He threw for 2860 yards last year in 12 games and still managed 23 touchdowns. If he manages to play all 17 games, he might come close to breaking his 2019 record.
