After 20 years of dominance by the New England Patriots led by the combination of the legendary QB Tom Brady and arguably the best head coach of all-time Bill Belichick, it’s time for the NFL fans to welcome the new dynasty in the league. And according to Colin Cowherd, the new dynasty will be the Kansas City Chiefs led by the unprecedented talent Patrick Mahomes and the ingenious head coach Andy Reid.

During a recent episode of his show The Herd, Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd claims that the Chiefs roster is flawless and they will continue dominating the league under their egoless quarterback Patrick Mahomes for the foreseeable future. “Kansas City’s a dynasty, and they’re not going anywhere, they’re smarter, they’re more talented,” said Cowherd about the Chiefs.

Furthermore, Cowherd went on to claim that the Chiefs are in a unique position and have every chance to repeat their success by winning the Super Bowl next season. “They’re in a very unique spot, took ’em a few years to get it all right, but they don’t have holes in their roster. They have no big impending free agent losses, they get the best coach back and the best arguable defensive coordinator back, Mahomes is young, ascending, doesn’t have an ego,” said Cowherd in a recent episode of his show.

As Cowherd mentioned, they do have decent cap space and a good amount of players returning, however; they have a tricky schedule in 2023 as they’re scheduled to face the Bengals, Bills, and the Eagles at home in the regular season.

The long-time football analyst Colin Cowherd believes the LA Rams were destined to be doomed since they just went all in with the one shot they had at winning the big game.

“It was different with the Rams, you can kinda see it coming, right?” said Cowherd.McVay, Whitworth, Donald all were talking retirement, they pushed all their chips in, they were paying Goff and Matt Stafford, you can see an aging roster, they gave up draft capital, you can see it was a little top heavy.”

Cowherd continued that the Kansas-based franchise is different and in a comfortable spot to repeat its success. “Kansas City is different, tons of rookies, who aren’t getting paid for years, a quarterback that’s the best, a coach that’s the best,” stated Cowherd. “I don’t see this going backwards.”

While it’s true that the Kansas City Chiefs have been dominating the league, especially the AFC for the past five years, they have just won two rings. So, it can be considered the start of the dynasty, but many people might argue that they haven’t reached that status just yet.
