The argument for the greatest of all time is a debate which not only extends to just players but also to coaches. A new argument has been sparked amidst NFL fans as to who is the greater coach – Andy Reid or Bill Belichick.

This was started by Michael Vick who had formerly played under Andy Reid. As per Vick, Reid should get the greatest coach in the NFL title due to his greater versatility. Vick said that Reid had done well with multiple teams whereas Bill Belichick had only managed to taste success with the New England Patriots and Tom Brady. This has sparked a debate among NFL fans with some siding with Reid while others are loyal to Belichick.

“I was actually thinking this year like, after Andy won the Super Bowl, he only got two, but he went to like four or five NFC Championship games every year y’all was in the AFC Championship game. Or he was in the NFC Championship game where he was close,” he said.

Colin Cowherd’s net worth is around $25 million and he weighed in with his opinions about the Andy Reid vs Bill Belichick debate. According to Cowherd, Reid did not have the luxury of having a legend like Tom Brady with Belichick yet he has an impressive record. However, Belichick without the services of Tom Brady has not been that good.

“If you told me [Reid would] coach six more years, I think the Belichick/Andy Reid debate is on,” Cowherd said. “Belichick’s head coaching career is tied to one player. Bill is nine games under .500 without Tom Brady. Andy uniquely had to wait longer for his legend[referring to Patrick Mahomes]” he said. But once he got him, he won before him, and he’s winning at a pace now greater than anybody.”

Colin Cowherd pointed out yet another interesting fact Andy Reid got his star quarterback after a very long time. However now that he has Patrick Mahomes under him, he looks the most threatening and isn’t looking to stop.

Andy Reid has managed to win the Super Bowl twice whereas Bill Belichick has won it a record six times which is the highest for an NFL coach. Belichick also holds the upper hand over his rival In terms of most regular season victories in the league, with the Patriots’ head coach having 298 victories as compared to Reid’s 247 wins.
