Jalen Hurts has been one of the best QBs in the league and many argue that the Eagles QB deserved to win the NFL MVP as well as the Super Bowl MVP award. The 24-year-old is proficient in multiple ways as he can pass the ball as well as run it down the field.
This set of skills makes him one of the most lethal QBs in the league and maybe even the best. Colin Cowherd recently spoke on the issue of top QBs in the league and the NFL analyst rates Hurts’ in high regard.
According to Colin Cowherd, Hurts is currently the best QB in the NFC conference by a mile. This can boil down to two things. First, he has no serious competition in the conference as Aaron Rodgers is nearing the end of his career while all the other QBs have failed to show consistency. Secondly, the QB is just 24 years old and has shown the maturity of a 44-year-old.
His physical stature is also an advantage that can help in throwing the ball as well as rushing with it. Cowherd pointed out that the Eagles QB is a class apart from every other QB in the NFC and it’s not even close.
“Just another reason you’ve got to sign him of the many elements that make him a franchise QB,” Colin Cowherd stated on the Herd. “Leadership, toughness, athleticism, arms better that everybody else, and character, he has all the things one can want.”
There’s a big gap in talent between Jalen Hurts and the next best QB in the NFC

The NFC and the AFC are two conferences in the NFL. However, currently the quality in both the conferences seems to be imbalanced. The AFC has many qualities QBs in Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow and Josh Allen among others.
However, the same can’t be said about the NFC as there is just Jalen Hurts at the top of the food chain and no one else comes close to him. Colin Cowherd pointed out that the other good QBs in the league are the Rams‘ Matthew Stafford, who is currently in a contract dispute with the Rams.
Packers’ Aaron Rodgers, who’s future is a bit uncertain currently and the Lions’ Jared Goff, who can never perform on the road during regular season. This makes Hurts the undisputed champion of the NFC at just 24 years old.
Jalen Hurts currently is up for a new contract with the Eagles and it’s highly likely that he will get one of the best contracts in the league with all the benefits and advantages.
