The Colorado Buffaloes bandwagon appears to have slowed down to the pace of a steam engine from that of a bullet train at the beginning of the season. The team that started off the season with three straight victories was quickly humbled when they went toe-to-toe against USC, Oregon, Stanford, and UCLA and lost. In the Buffalo’s loss to UCLA, the team ended up losing more than just the game.
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes were robbed of their jewelry and additional personal belongings from their locker room during the game. Coach Prime’s son, Deion Sanders Jr., posted a video following the game. The athletes on the team were all left confused and upset at the state of the locker room.
The current belief is that the robbers went through the belongings of the CU Buffaloes players while the game was in progress. Five of the team’s players reported their jewelry and other personal items missing from the lockers.
Deion Sanders did not comment on the Colorado Buffaloes locker room being robbed
The team’s safety Cam’ron Silmon-Craig expressed his displeasure at the incident.
You're gonna play football and know your sh*t safe. That joint messed up.
An investigation is currently taking place in this matter as per Outkick.
The school released a statement after the incident was brought to light.
The UCLA athletic department confirmed that a report was filed to the Pasadena Police Department following the UCLA-Colorado Football game regarding items that were reportedly missing from the Colorado locker room. UCLA is in communication with law enforcement, Rose Bowl Stadium officials and the University of Colorado on the matter.
