The Colorado Buffaloes suffered two setbacks last week when the team lost to UCLA and after the game discovered that they had been robbed in the locker room as some of their belongings were rendered missing. The robbery was alleged to have occurred when the game was going on. The team contacted the police and registered a complaint.

As per USA Today, law enforcement authorities in Pasadena investigated the situation and have been able to get their hands on the stolen items from last week’s Rose Bowl. The police have confirmed that some stolen items have been returned to their rightful owners.

While not all of the goods reported lost have been found so far, the police are still investigating the matter and have assured Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes that the additional items of interest have been identified and are currently being pursued.

The surprising part about the case is that the suspects are juveniles as per the official statement of the police. The statement said:

Search warrants were executed, and additional information will be provided soon as the investigation progresses.

In light of this event, Deion Sanders demanded that the Rose Bowl Stadium repay the damages incurred by the Buffaloes players for the items stolen by them.

It was not just players who lost jewelry but staff reported missing cash as well. The police statement further added:

The Pasadena Police Department would like to thank those who reported leads to our tip line. The information and support are invaluable and play a crucial role in helping us ensure safety and security in our community. Our detectives worked diligently to follow up on all leads which resulted in the quick execution of search warrants.

Following their 28-16 loss to the UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl stadium last week, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes will now continue their college football season as they face off against No. 19 Oregon State on Saturday at 10 P.M. ET.
