“You’re gonna get your a** sued!” Colts boss Jim Irsay threatens to drag Stephen A. Smith’s First Take to court over comments on his 2014 arrest
Irsay disagreed with Smith's comments regarding the HBO interview that revealed why he was arrested back in 2014.

Jim Irsay claimed in an interview with HBO’s Andrea Kremer that him being ‘a white, rich male’ led to his DUI arrest back in 2014, which reached the ears of Stephen A. Smith and his fellow ESPN crew. During the recent episode of First Take, the veteran sports analyst, along with his college students Molly Qerim, Kimberley Martin, and Chris ‘MadDog’ Russo, blasted the Indianapolis Colts owner for his statements, calling him a ‘rich, spoiled brat.’
Irsay did not like what he heard from the esteemed crew and launched a vicious war of words with a couple of fiery tweets.

Irsay further wrote:
29,000 dollars is low for me to be carrying in, 2014 arrest/I give away $2000-$10,000 dollars to the homeless and needed on the street—making the world better.
He followed it up with another one moment later, which documented his ancestral history.
My grandparents came across Ellis Island—penniless and escaping Jewish concentration camps.
He added that he grew up in a horrible environment and that his brother and sister died in a car crash in 1971.
What did Stephen A. Smith say that forced Jim Irsay into writing such controversial tweets?
On the following Wednesday, after the Irsay interview aired for the general public to see, Stephen A. Smith blasted the longtime Colts owner, stating he ‘only thinks about himself.’ Not only that, he claimed that if Irsay was the owner of an NBA team, then the situation would have been completely different.
He doesn't think about anything else; he just thinks about himself--Because he's an entitled old brat. If he were an NBA owner, I assure you, it would be a problem. Because you have an abundance of players who would just look at him with utter disgust. He's lucky that he's in the National Football League.Smith on First Take
Smith added that NFL owners are so rich that it’s as if they ‘print money.’ He also claimed that it would be stupid for any owner to “not make money as an NFL owner in this day and age.”
There hasn’t been any further development regarding whether Irsay would actually go forward and sue Stephen A. or not. Still it is not entirely out of the realm of possibility.
