The Dallas Cowboys’ starting quarterback, Dak Prescott, recently got a massive tattoo on his leg. The tattoo included tributes to former NBA stars Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan as well as a picture of late boxing legend Muhammad Ali. The tattoo also includes Daffy Duck and the Dallas skyline.
Prescott revealed that he was sedated for 11 hours to get this tattoo done at one time. Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones had no clue Prescott was getting a huge tattoo this offseason. He was surprised when he found out about the tattoo. Jones opened up about his quarterback getting inked and being sedated for 11 hours during the process.
He said, “I don’t have a comment. “My comment is it explains to me why I don’t do tattoos.” Jones later admitted that he had no idea about Prescott getting a tattoo. “I certainly didn’t know he was under for 10 hours, just so you’re clear, I had no idea about tattoos. I better get up to date on it. I had no idea that required that kind of sedation of any tattoo. It further explains to me why I don’t have a tattoo,” he said.
Prescott’s decision to get sedated for 11 hours for a tattoo surprised a lot of people in the Cowboys organization. Fans still wonder if Jones would’ve let him go through with it had he known about it before. Prescott and the Cowboys are contenders to make a potential Super Bowl run this season. They will begin their season against the New York Giants tomorrow.

Mike McCarthy was surprised to learn about Dak Prescott’s huge leg tattoo

Dak Prescott‘s decision to get inked in the offseason is not an unusual one. A lot of players get tattoos on their bodies. However, Prescott got a massive tattoo on his leg and was sedated for 11 hours while it was being made. Head coach Mike McCarthy was shocked to learn that his starting QB had a huge tattoo on his leg.
“I was like, Whoa, what the … happened to your leg?” McCarthy said in a recent interview as he recalled their conversation. “So he shows it to me. I’m like, ‘Jesus Christ, how long did that take? You’ve been doing it all week.’ He said, ‘No, I did it all at one time’. He showed me a video of it and like, ‘Oh, my God,” he added.
The franchise’s starting QB being sedated for a long time is not something a head coach would want to hear. Prescott had a terrible season last year, and now that former OC Kellen Moore is with the Los Angeles Chargers, the play-calling duties will fall on McCarthy. The Dallas Cowboys would hope they get a bounce back season from Prescott and that the team makes a deep playoff run.
